Russ

As with many, my two wheeled life started on dirt bikes, at a very young age. By my high school years, my interests shifted away from dirt bikes and on to classic cars and pretty girls. It was at this same time that a began to experience the freedom of the open road. My father and mother were avid motorcyclist and I would often pester my pop into letting me take the Goldwing out and cruise down the highway and around town, not really going anyplace or seeing anything in particular, just riding to ride. Looking back, I guess that's when it all started.

With my appetite to ride wetted, I moved from an occasional ride, on my pops Goldwing, to daily riding on a Kawi KD 400, that was somewhat permanently on loan to me, from a close family friend. A year or so later, I left home and joined the military, leaving me without a motorcycle for the first time since I was seven years old. That was remedied about a year later when, while stationed in North Chicago, I purchase "my first motorcycle", a Suzuki GS650, which was my daily transportation to and from the base be it in rain, snow, sunshine or freezing temperatures. Me and the GS650 parted ways, a couple of years later, when I received orders to Japan. My early passion for riding never died however, and after returning to the states, a new house, a few new cars, a new boat, a couple of kids and a mid-life crisis later, the passion was re-kindled with the purchase of my first Harley-Davidson, and the rest is history.
Riding is an integral part of my everyday life. I not only embrace the freedom and exhilaration of riding, but also the colorfulness of the brothers and sisters whom I share this lifestyle with. You will find me, on any given day, out and about town, visiting one of my favorite watering holes, visiting friends or attending a biker rally with a few thousand of my closest biker brothers and sisters. As I still have a young one at home, I can not venture away from the nest for too long however, I do manage to catch several of the major biker events out here in the west.
At the various rallies and parties I have attended in the past, I observed, as most of us do, the free spirited nature of many of our sisters in the wind. I also learned how difficult most of these women found it to find apparel that allowed them to be as expressive as they wished. I decided that it was high time that such a place existed and BikerCrap.com was born. BikerCrap.com is now a successful web based and is continually growing. I simply could not ask for a better job. I wake up each day and correspond with fellow bikers. A day of marketing for me consists of heading out to one of the various biker events and rallies, meeting folks and just having a good time. I have been bless.

Obviously, I work for myself and therefore my schedule is very flexible. So, if you ever find yourself down here in my neck of the woods (SoCal) be sure to give me a call so we can hook up and share a cold one.

Become A Featured Biker

If you want to be a Featured Biker, just send us a few decent pix of yourself in the wind, on your scoot or doing the biker thing and write something about yourself, your lifestyle, your travels, your thoughts on being a biker, whatever. Only rule is you actually got to be a biker, not some candy ass trailer queen riden wannabe that decided two weeks ago you wanted to be just like the boys at OCC or one of those guys who has had a scooter for 3 years and has put a whopping 3,000 miles on it. If you look like a biker, act like a biker, smell like a biker and ride like a biker, we will use it. Include your mailing address, and if we use your submission we will send you some cheap ass gift that most likely will promote BikerCrap. Now how is that for a deal?
